This hand-stitched tote bag is built to last. Constructed with a two-tone mix of 5oz thick full grain, vegetable-tanned bridle leather from one of the US’s last tanneries located in Pennsylvania, it will age like fine wine.
Every component is sewn by hand using waxed braided thread made in Maine.
Inside is a simple, large compartment designed to be big enough for a laptop, a smaller open-topped pouch for those items you don’t want migrating to the bottom of the bag, and a halter snap to hang your keys from. The straps are a much thicker 10-12oz leather (same thickness as our belts and guitar straps) to fully support the work required of a larger bag.
Dimensions: The bottom footprint of the bag is roughly 13”x 5” and the top opening is approximately 17.5” when laid flat. The main compartment is 11” deep. The inner pocket is 10”x5”, a perfect home for our Page Envelope Wallet.
The Name: Named in honor of the first woman to serve as the Director of the CIA, who spent decades in a career of espionage as an Operations Officer but who also kept an approachable and thoughtful demeanor even when rising to the top ranks.
