Sporting a handmade, custom belt buckle from our friends at FosterWeld in Idaho, this American Bison leather belt is one of a kind. Sewn by a hand cranked “cowboy sewing machine” made in Ohio with thread from Maine.
Named for the Smokejumpers, wildland firefighters originating in the 1950s out of Montana who would jump from planes, parachuting into wildfires who worked with the CIA on special projects around the globe.
The American Bison is said to turn and face storms directly…I can think of no better personification of that attribute than the courage of the Smokejumpers literally jumping into fire.
1.5” wide and made to order to your normal pants size. Just enter whatever your most common pants size is in the options and I'll figure out the right length with seven hole options. Stamped with American Handmade on the end and the Gravel Drive Trading Co logo near the buckle.
