American Bison are said to turn towards storms and charge them head on. Instead of running away from the storm they pass through it faster. Their grit and toughness shows in their hides- more character, more range marks, and more strength.

  • The Bison is a hearty animal and its hide reflects that, it is tougher and stronger than cow hide per ounce and with that toughness comes unique textures of a life lived beyond fencelines.

  • Most Bison herds are raised, free-range in open prairies in the US west, predominantly Colorado, Wyoming and Montana and as far east as Indiana.

  • Since nearing extinction in the late 1800’s, the American Bison is almost exclusively found in the United States, with a few herds extending into Canada towards Alaska and some just across the border into Mexico.

Our American Bison is sourced from the United States and tanned at an American tannery in two colors that honor the natural character and vibrance of the bison’s hide. Every piece is unique and has rich pull-up to create even more character as it ages.
